I know what i said hurt you bad,
And a sorry just won't do,
But I hope as time flies you'll understand,
That it hurt me as much as it did you.

The times we shared,
Both bitter and sweet,
Become memories I wish to keep.

Forgetting you is impossible to do,
Forgetting me is up to you,

Forget me not,
Forget you never,
Forget this poem,
But not it's letter.

I know what I did hurt you bad,
But what else could I do,
It would have only ended badly,
If not too soon,

So please accept this apology,
Straight from my heart,
And many sorries,
From a friend to you.
